From material selection to production environment, our partners meet the EU RoHS certification, which restricts the use of specific hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment. Our production partner factories adhere to ISO9001 quality management and Good Manufacturing Practices global excellent manufacturing standards, ensuring that various aspects of their operations – including their cleanroom and environmental emission control practices – are environmentally friendly.
Our exclusive factory has four floors spanning an area of more than 20,000 square meters. The first floor is for packaging and warehousing. The second floor is for battery and device assembly, while the third and fourth floors are device production workshops. With 4,000 employees working in various production lines, the factory is the largest dedicated factory for e-cigarettes in the world. Our factories even surpass many food industry benchmarks – for example, our cleanroom meets GMP 100K standards, ensuring our devices are produced in a clean and hygienic manner. The integrated manufacturing system at this factory combines internal and external resources to harmonise the Design, Research & Development and Production processes, ensuring the most effective quality control of our products. With 58 test procedures in the processing of incoming materials, production and finished products, we implement the industry's most stringent sampling process. More than 2 million devices are sampled for quality testing every year, which is more than the total number of devices sold by many e-cigarette brands in a year.
Taking reference from the national analysis standards of the food industry, our products are tested against several product quality indices, including those for heavy metals, arsenic, plasticizer (16 phthalates), microorganisms, 16 Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs), Malondialdehyde (MDA), acrylamide and nitrites. To date, none of these substances have been detected in our products.
We use the French AFNOR standard XP D90-300-3, the most widely-recognized standard in the industry, in testing for the harmful components in smoke, such as carbonyls, 11 heavy metals, acetyls, alcohols, a variety of tobacco-specific nitrosamines (TSNAs), volatile organic compounds and other compounds, as well as nicotine transmission stability. The test results from the TCT Testing Technology Co., Ltd, which focuses on testing and certifying the reliability of electronic and electrical products and consumer goods, show that our products meet the relevant requirements and e-cigarette standards of the EU TPD (European Union Tobacco Products Directive).
